So if you plan a wedding, outside, in August, you know you're rolling the dice with the weather and Andrea and Jason rolled "super hot"! That was totally okay though, cause they were as hot as the day, and no one let any of it get in their way. Megan and Juan were a blast to hang out with. Now I know I say that a lot, but I really, really mean it! They were so full of joy and energy you couldn't help but getting buzzed just being around them. Their reception was full of a crazy traditional Mexican wedding traditions - in particular one that I thought someone was surely going to get severely injured during. People should not be running around that fast around people standing on chairs! So. Much. Fun! Enjoy!

Bethany and Kyle were married in a short and sweet morning ceremony in early September next to the Alicante vineyard at Copper River Country Club. Even though it turned out to be another sweltering hot day, we made the rest of it, and in the end the beautiful ceremony and moment filled experience is what will live on forever. After 4 years, I finally sat down and went through 100,000+ or so wedding pictures I've taken over the last 8 years and pared it down to 76 or so of my absolute favorites - the images that I feel define my style and how I photograph weddings. Wowza, this wedding was one heck of a party! It may have been sweltering hot, but that didn't slow anyone down and it was obvious to everyone around that this was going to be an amazing celebration. Cassandra from Weddings by Cassandra was the planner and once again she did not disappoint. She's on a very short list of planners in the area that I can swear knock it out of the park every time. Pam and Dan were married just a couple weeks ago at the Holy Spirit Church with a reception following at the beautiful Copper River Country Club. It was a bittersweet day as Pam's mother was fighting cancer, but she fought hard and was able to attend her daughter's wedding. She has since passed, but my hope is that these images of her and her family on such a joyous occasion serve as a reminder of her beautiful spirit. Kristen is an avid tennis player so we headed out to Copper River to start her session on the courts there and then moved on to other areas of the club. The session was an absolute blast and I think we all had a great time. Check out a few of my favorites!
