Kate and Chris | Tenaya Lodge Wedding | Fish Camp, CA

Kate and Chris were married just a few weeks ago in the vastly cooler climate of the Tenaya Lodge. You've got to love any opportunity to get out of the valley and enjoy some nicer weather! Kate wore a unique dress with navy blue accents to compliment Chris' dress blues - both are in the Army and wear that distinction with pride. It was also an opportunity to see one of my couples from last year, Chris' sister and her husband - Rachel and James. I'm honored to have the opportunity to photograph two weddings in this family and hope there's more to come! Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Roslyn and Andrew | Wolf Lakes Lakeside Wedding | Sanger, CA

So we're going to take a little break from posting weddings from last year (don't worry, I'll get back to that shortly) and post my first wedding of 2014 that happened a few weeks ago at beautiful Wolf Lakes Park. We started the day at Roslyn's family's home in Chowchilla for preparations and headed over to Wolf Lakes to enjoy a brilliantly beautiful March day. We were blessed with such a great group of people, and as she always does, Cassandra from Weddings by Cassandra did an amazing job coordinating everything. Enjoy a few of my favorite moments and portraits from the day...

The Hayden Family | Downtown Family Portrait Session | Fresno, CA

This is quite possibly the most fun family portrait session I photographed all of last year. You mix two crazy, nuts, spirited boys with a mom who has totally given in to the fact her boys are what they are, and you get some serious hilarity. Just a ton of boys being boys with a nice little family portrait in the middle. Apparently in this family, when mom says hug your brother, that means knock him down and drag him across the ground. It made the perfect Christmas card! More than anything, I love when I can capture kids this age, acting exactly like kids this age. You only get one chance at it, make it count!
