Nicole and Chris | Preservation Park Wedding | Oakland, CA

I first met Nicole and Chris at Sarah and Ryan's wedding a couple of years ago. I'm not going to lie, I secretly thought they were a really cool couple and hoped they would get married and hire me. Well the universe heard me and here we are! I love that they are as sarcastic as me, love beer as much as I do (probably even more), and have a sarcastic wit which can keep the banter going forever. It was an absolute blast hanging out with them and their friends for the day and I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as I enjoyed making them!

Julie and Jeffery | Glacier Point Wedding | Yosemite National Park

One of my favorite things about weddings in Yosemite is that they are NEVER alike. I get to meet people from all over the world and the only thing in common is their great love for the mountains and the outdoors. Julie and Jeff were no exception. They live in Colorado but had never actually been to Yosemite before the day of their wedding. They gathered 25 of their closest friends, rented an amazing cabin outside the park, and got their first taste of Yosemite about 10 minutes before we met. It was a blast showing them around and capturing the amazing scenes all around us. Then to cap off the day, we headed out to Taft Point with several

Helen and Nate | Majestic Yosemite Hotel Wedding | Yosemite National Park

I never tire of visiting Yosemite, it's the most incredible landscape on earth and I'm beyond fortunate to live close enough to work there on a regular basis. Throw in an expressive, warm couple and a day couldn't be better. I spent a good portion of the day, really almost all of it, laughing into the back of my camera. Every family member, every friend was truly engaged and present with Helen and Nate and it readily shows in the pictures. So much love, so much laughter at every turn. Helen and Nate spend most of their free time climbing together, and while I'm not a climber, spending the day with people that have a love of Yosemite that matches

Eunice and Chris | Paradise Springs Wedding | Oakhurst, CA

This wedding was touch and go for a bit - the Railroad Fire was bearing down on Paradise Springs for the better part of a month, but thanks to the amazing work by the firefighters, the venue was safe and Eunice and Chris had one hell of a wedding. Every wedding has moments, expressive people, beautiful surroundings, but I've rarely met a group of people so in tune to each other. It was a real treat to spend the day with everyone here - there were so many hugs, I truly felt I was among "my people" all day. Not even a 2 or so hour delay with the makeup could ruin the experience, and if you're a glass-half-full kind

Michelle and Rhett | Mission San Miguel Wedding | Paso Robles, CA

Michelle is the 3rd, and last, of the Goodman siblings to get married and she decided to go large to finish it all off! This is the first of their TWO weddings from a few months ago. It was so great to see and reconnect with a family I have gotten to know over the past 7+ years and many weddings starting with her brother's wedding, her sister and cousin's wedding from last year, and another cousin a few years before that. This was a simple, intimate ceremony with family and closest of friends at the Mission San Miguel in Paso Robles, CA. They saved the big blowout for the next day at the Allegretto Resort which will be coming

Andrea and Jason | Wedding from Copper River Country Club | Fresno, CA

So if you plan a wedding, outside, in August, you know you're rolling the dice with the weather and Andrea and Jason rolled "super hot"! That was totally okay though, cause they were as hot as the day, and no one let any of it get in their way. The vineyard looked amazing, the expressions and moments were coming from every direction, and it was a fantastic day. Enjoy a few of my favorites...

Andrea and Jason | Foothill Engagement Session | Fresno, CA

The landscape just outside of Fresno is one of the most beautiful terrains I've seen anywhere. The beautiful rolling hills, majestic oak trees, lush grasses, and craggy granite outcroppings. It's a gorgeous location for an engagement session with such a great variety of form, color and texture. Andrea just got married a couple weeks ago, and their wedding post is coming very soon, but I though it was time I showed a handful of my favorites from their session.

Kelsey and Cameron | Wolf Lakes and Pilgrim Armenian Wedding | Fresno, CA

Kelsey and Cameron were married in a ceremony at Pilgrim Armenian Church followed by a reception at the ever beautiful Wolf Lakes Park in Sanger, CA. Every detail was perfect carried out by the wonderful Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra. It was a special day to work with so many people so totally present and engaged throughout the day in a setting that couldn't have been more beautiful.

Hayley and Jay | Copper River Country Club Wedding | Fresno, CA

What started out looking like a rainy day, ended up being a gorgeous day at Copper River Country Club. Hayley was looking amazing in her custom dress and Jay was looking dapper. So many beautiful details and emotional moments all around, all day. To finish it all off was a wild dance floor and live band to bring it all home. The lighting from the stage was some of the funnest light I've had to work with - I loved playing with it and the added dimension to the dance party! Enjoy a few of my favorites from the day.
