Hallie and Matt traveled clear across the United States to get married in the most beautiful place on Earth - Yosemite National Park. I honestly don't think there is a better wedding location than Yosemite. If you haven't been there, you owe it to yourself to make the trek! Hallie and Matt were fabulous - so much energy, so easy to laugh, they're the exact kind of people that make my job so rewarding. I thank them for the opportunity to document their wedding in Yosemite. Enjoy my favorites from the day!
I'm so fortunate to be a photographer in Central California. Working here means that Yosemite is right in my backyard and I get a chance to photograph quite a few weddings and engagement sessions in Yosemite Valley. Nothing on Earth can beat El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and the rest of the natural monuments in Yosemite as photography backdrops. This time around I was lucky enough to be chosen by Rebecca and Louis to be the wedding photographer at their Yosemite wedding at the Ahwahnee this coming fall. As is customary this time of year, I've been spending A LOT of time up in the hills. This session is a little old, back before everything turned brown, but it's a great look at this special time of year. We were blessed with a extraordinary morning complete with great light and some amazing clouds.
