ENGAGEMENT SESSION INFORMATION
HOW MUCH DOES A SESSION COST?
If you’re also going to be looking for a wedding photographer, you should know that engagement sessions are included on a complimentary basis with most Signature Wedding Day Collections. If you don’t have a wedding photographer yet, we should definitely talk! If you’re only looking for an engagement session, the fee is $750 for a local session within an hour drive of Fresno, CA. That fee includes the session time and the high-resolution, print ready digital files. Upgrades for custom albums, prints, photo guest books, and custom Save the Date cards are available as well.
WE DON’T KNOW WHERE TO GO, DO YOU HAVE IDEAS?
I have my go-to places – little pockets of cool and natural beauty. We’ll work together to select a location unique and special for the two of you. My only rule is the location typically needs to be local to Fresno, CA (within a 60 minute drive).
WE SAW SOME COOL LOCATIONS IN YOUR GALLERIES, CAN WE GO OUT OF TOWN?
You bet! If you want to hit the beach in Monterey or Pismo, head to Yosemite or Sequoia/Kings Canyon National Parks, or some other exotic California location, the session fee is $1250. These Destination Sessions are an extended session of about 3-4 hours over my regular sessions. The fee includes the session time and the high-resolution, print ready digital files plus your choice of a custom photo guest book or album, or a large 20×30 gallery wrap canvas wall portrait.
WHEN SHOULD WE SCHEDULE OUR SESSION?
That all depends on what you’re using the images for. If you’re planning on using the images for save-the-date cards or wedding invitations, you should schedule your session no later than 6 to 9 months before your wedding. If we’re doing a custom guest-book or engagement album, then we’ll need about 3 months. If you’re just ordering prints, then 3 to 4 weeks is usually sufficient.
