When Kim and Jason booked me to be their wedding photographer, they knew exactly what they wanted to do for their engagement session.  See, Jason proposed to Kim at the Shadowbrook restaurant in Capitola near Santa Cruz.  He had a friend photograph it, but they wanted something in a little better light so they asked if we could shoot there and then hit the beach.  The Shadowbrook restaurant is a stunning place, situated on a hillside with terraced dining areas set among beautiful gardens.  I'd never heard of it, but I will be returning with someone special for certain.  Below are a few of my favorites...check them out and leave a comment - tell me what you think!
