Briana and Justin are getting married next year! We headed to Millerton Lake for their engagement session where we found blue skies and golden grasses. Enjoy a few highlights from the day!
I got to take my first ride in a helicopter on this exciting shoot with Shantelle and Jean-Pierre in Dos Palos. We ended the evening with a golden sunset in the cotton fields. Here are a selection of my favorites from the session!

I'm looking forward to photographing Robin and Steve's wedding at the Valhalla Grand Hall in South Lake Tahoe next year! Here are a few from their engagement session to help tide you over until then. Next up in the engagement category are a couple of my good friends Polly and Matt. I first met Matt when I was 7 years old and new to California, straight out of Oklahoma. We have moved in and out of each other's lives over the years and I'm happy we're currently "in" right now and I get to photograph his wedding to Polly in just a couple weeks. So we all got up at the crack of dawn and headed up to Millerton Lake for Vidi and Sean's engagement session. Not exactly what I expected when I first saw that Flag Day was coming up on the calendar, but my wife (and Studio Manager) Leslie did some scheduling magic to get a session in for some people with some crazy work schedules. After we shook of the sleep and rubbed our eyes, we made some pictures. Enjoy!
Lacie was a bridesmaid in a wedding I photographed a couple of years ago, and I was excited to see her again and have the opportunity to work with her and her fiancee Chris at their own wedding. For their engagement session, they asked to go to San Francisco to the rose garden where Chris proposed. We also made a stop at AT&T park to shoot in the area - they're huge Giants fans and even have their own commemorative brick in the walkway along McCovey Cove at the ballpark.
