Sheena and Taylor are getting married in just a couple months, but this is their engagement session from downtown Fresno with a little session-ending detour out into the countryside from some sweet California sunset light in an abandoned vineyard. Check em out!

I'm really starting to like shooting on the Fresno State campus. With all the new buildings that have gone up over the last few years along with the great diversity between "green" and "urban" areas, it's fantastic location for a session. Katrina and Andrew are graduates of the journalism program at Fresno State, and that's where they met, so it was natural that we shot their session there. Enjoy a few of my favorites...
Another trip up into the hills for Lindsay and Dustin's engagement session to take advantage of all the new spring growth. The leaves have finally started to fully pop on all the trees and the grass is still holding onto it's "greenness" thanks to this late rain. It's another great session, and I'm looking forward to shooting their wedding in just 4 short weeks!
When Brianna suggested shooting on an old, abandoned dairy that had been in her family for over 100 years, I jumped at the opportunity. I love shooting in new places - especially places that have a connection to my clients. She told me she was worried that there wouldn't be anything good out there, but she didn't need to be. There's so much rich texture and history at locations like this, it's a paradise for a photographer. Enjoy!
No real surprise here on the location - it's spring so that means heading out to the hills to take advantage of this tiny window of beautiful weather, green hills, and blooming wildflowers. This time it's Nicole and Kenny's turn - getting married after being together since early high-school 10 years ago. Gotta love a great "High-School Sweetheart" story! In keeping with the springtime theme, I headed back to the blooming hills for Cassandra and Chris' engagement session. It was a beautiful, if not a little windy day, but it had such an amazing sky it was well worth putting up with the breeze. I really enjoyed so many images from this session, these are just a few of my absolute favorites.
