Engagement
Spring is fully underway and that means I'm spending a lot of time "at the lake"! Brittany and Chris brought their kids along and we did a quick family shoot followed by their engagement session. Take some time and view my favorites from the session!
Well, it wasn't supposed to rain. It was supposed to be cloudy and then break up right at sunset giving us an amazing sky. And then it didn't happen that way! So, we grabbed the umbrellas and took to the orchard and dodged the raindrops for a bit. It turned out to be a shorter session than planned, but I really love the images we got. It's spring! So that means a lot of sessions in the hills as the great outdoors wakes up from it's winter nap. Lindsey is the sister of one of my former clients from a couple years ago - I was honored when I got a call from her as the biggest compliment I can receive is a family member or friend of a former client choosing me to document their day. As we get to the end of February it's time for the seasons to change and spring to return to the hills around Fresno. Yanadine and Visoth travelled all the way up here for their engagement session ahead of their wedding down in Long Beach at the end of the month. In spite of the very dry winter there were still a few displays of wildflowers around Millerton Lake with more surely to follow. Holy smokes it was cold this morning! Of course, my first morning session would come up on the first legitimately cold morning we've had in weeks! It wasn't a problem though, Natalie and Curtis powered through and we got some great images. Enjoy my favorites, and thanks for stopping by my site.
Nichole and Matt are getting married next summer here in Fresno, but they got engaged up in San Francisco at the Westin on Union Square so we headed that way for their engagement session. We started at Union Square and the surrounding area and finished up at Baker Beach with a beautiful view of the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. Enjoy my favorites from the session.
It might have been a couple days late - Tiffany and Kraig's wedding was 2 days before this session - but when you're flying in from Alaska for your wedding you shoot when you can! Keep an eye out, their wedding will post here within the next few weeks.
For a little something different I headed down to the Tower District for Jennifer and Philip's engagement session starting out around dusk and finishing after dark at The Revue coffee shop. Enjoy!
