Katie and Blake are from out of town, so when it was raining the day we planned their engagement session, there wasn't much choice but to go for it! I had a great time, and I think the results were really different and beautiful. Enjoy a few of my favorites from the session...
For Kathy and Jesse's engagement session I headed down to Kingsburg on a beautiful evening and roamed downtown and the countryside. We found some cool spots and had a great time - both of them have such a great sense of humor which meant lots of laughs the whole time. Enjoy my favorites...
Take a minute and enjoy a few of my favorites from Ashley and Carlos' engagement session. We went up to Millerton Lake on a really windy day, but we made do and were blessed with some great light and some really neat clouds.
Well I guess I should get this engagement session posted before I post Jenni and Scott's wedding in a few weeks! I'm a little behind on my posts, and this session took place back in May up at Millerton Lake just after everything up there turned golden brown. It was a great day and we explored a couple areas I've never been to which made it all the more exciting. Enjoy my favorites and stay tuned for their fabulous wedding photographs!
What an amazing day, and what amazing light we had for Shannon and Taylor's engagement session. I don't know what it was, but even though this location is a regular for me things were just working extra well this day. Take a minute to look through a small selection of my favorite images.
I knew I had visited an old courthouse at Millerton Lake as a kid on a field trip, but I didn't exactly remember where it was, but when it came time to find a spot for Stephanie and Jon's session I decided it was time I did a little serious looking. It wasn't really that hard to find, just took a little drive up to the lake and I found it of course. Along the way we shot at a bunch of great little spots on the south side of Millerton.
Stephanie and Gabriel are getting married at Wolf Lakes later this year, and as many couples using the park for their wedding do, they asked to use the park for their engagement session as well. We had to beat a storm that wasn't supposed to be coming but nobody told the wind and clouds - fortunately we made it! We also had a special guest at the session, their adorable little Pomeranian!
This is another "new to me" location. After repeatedly driving through Friant on my way to many other places, I decided to meet Brie and Adrian in the town and shoot in that area. Once again, we were blessed with some remarkable light and made some great images. I hope you enjoy them!
