Natalie and Curtis | Holy Trinity and Banker’s Ballroom Wedding | Fresno, CA

Sometimes you get a couple with so much spirit and energy that the whole day, as busy and intense as it can be, doesn't even seem like work - not even a little bit. Natalie, Curtis, their friends and especially their family were a joy to spend the day with. So much energy, love and excitement surrounded everything about the day. It was a tough challenge to narrow down all the great images for this post. Take a few minutes and enjoy this snapshot of their wedding day.

Kathy and Jesse | Wolf Lakes Garden Wedding | Fresno, CA

Kathy and Jesse were married at beautiful Wolf Lakes Park in the Garden on an unseasonably cool May day. We were treated to the most amazing skies which we took full advantage of during the portrait sessions. They also brought their adorable little dog, even dressing her in a little tutu for her walk down the aisle during the ceremony. I love dogs, so you'll have to forgive the number of pictures of her in the slideshow! Kathy and Jesse are both a riot and I love how expressive they both were. Lindsay and Dustin | St. Peter, Ranch Wedding | Lemoore, CA

Lindsay and Dustin were married at St. Peter Catholic Church in Lemoore followed by an amazing reception on Dustin's family's farm. Lindsay didn't miss a single detail; from the kid's activity table, to the Superior Dairy ice cream truck (YUM!), to tequila shots for everyone that managed to make it into the late night, everything was a blast. Pam and Dan | Holy Spirit, Copper River Wedding | Fresno, CA

Pam and Dan were married just a couple weeks ago at the Holy Spirit Church with a reception following at the beautiful Copper River Country Club. It was a bittersweet day as Pam's mother was fighting cancer, but she fought hard and was able to attend her daughter's wedding. She has since passed, but my hope is that these images of her and her family on such a joyous occasion serve as a reminder of her beautiful spirit. As for Pam and Dan, they were a simply great couple to work with, fun loving and easy going. Enjoy a few of my favorites from the day...

Melanie and Brian | Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Wedding | Fresno, CA

Melanie and Brian were married at Fig Garden Swim and Racquet and it continues to be one of my favorite venues in Fresno. The grounds are beautiful, the light is remarkable, and the setting lends itself to the comfort of all the guests. Melanie had so many great details - all of which were handmade by her, Brian and other family members. And when I say everything, I mean everything - from her dress that was sewn by her mother, to the arbor that was fabricated by Brian. It was a beautiful wedding, I hope you will take some time and enjoy my photographs!

Lauren and Kenny | Viaggio Winery Wedding Reception | Lodi, CA

While this wasn't actually a wedding, it was a wedding reception for a couple that ended up eloping rather than go through with a big wedding and all logistics involved with that - they simply took off and had a nice weekend together and took care of the important part. I was really stoked they had me come join them at a reception for their friends and family at the Viaggio Winery in Lodi, CA. Since there was no wedding, we had tons of time to make portraits all over the beautiful grounds - it really was a paradise. So this is a pretty portrait heavy post compared to most weddings here, but I'm sure you'll enjoy them!

Kristi and Drew | People’s Church Wedding, Orchard Reception | Fresno, CA

Kristi and Drew's wedding took place just a few weeks ago with a ceremony at the GL Johnson Chapel at People's Church. Following their ceremony, everyone headed out to Kristi's parents orchard for a beautiful reception among the olive trees. They pulled out all the stops, even rolling dad's classic Thunderbird out for few portraits and finishing the night with an exit lit by huge sparklers held by the guests. Check out a few of my favorite images from the day.

Sheri and Kevin | A Wedding from The Grove | Sanger, CA

Sheri and Kevin were married a few weeks ago at the "new" old venue The Grove. You may know it as Hobbs Grove, but they've revamped the place to cater more to weddings and it's looking great. This was my first chance to work at The Grove and I was fortunate to have such cool, laid back couple to spend the day with. In spite of the heat, everyone had a blast and I took a few photographs that I'm pretty proud of. See a few of them here!
