Yanadine and Vee | Wedding from the Maya Hotel | Long Beach, CA

It's a new year, I know it's already April, but it's a new season and first up for 2012 is Yanadine and Vee's wedding from the Maya Hotel in Long Beach, CA. I love getting out of town and shooting in new places from time to time, and this wedding was no exception. Tons of great moments, amazing light and color, and a fantastic group of people all created a perfect environment for some great photography. Enjoy my favorites from the day.

Sarah and Wesley | Wedding from the GL Johnson Chapel and Ft Washington | Fresno, CA

Next up in my attempt to get my blog up to date is another wedding from last November - this time it's Sarah and Wesley. They were married at the GL Johnson Chapel at Peoples Church with a reception following at Ft. Washington Country Club. November can be such an amazing time of year for a wedding in the valley since all the trees are on fire with color and the weather is really mild -rarely any rain. Sarah and Wesley's wedding day didn't disappoint and I'm certain everyone had a blast!

Dayna and Phil | A Backyard Wedding | Fresno, CA

There are people that have "intimate" weddings and then there are couples like Dayna and Phil whose wedding was the very definition of intimate. 12 guests, a maid of honor, a best man, an officiant, and myself in Dayna's parent's backyard. I love the vibe at these types of weddings, every thing is quieter and peaceful, but the one thing that's just as strong is the relationships. I am humbled and honored to be allowed to witness this type of celebration. Following the ceremony at their home, we headed to Belmont Country Club for a reception dinner with a few more of their friends and family. Enjoy a few of my favorite images...

Ann and Anton | A Lao and a Wolf Lakes Wedding | Fresno, CA

Ann and Anton offered me a completely new opportunity and that was to shoot a traditional Lao ceremony a few weeks before their "Western" wedding at Wolf Lakes Park. Her family was very helpful pointing out when and where different things were going to happen and explaining what was going on as it happened. As a photographer it was exhilarating to try and distill all the different color and tradition with my camera. A few weeks later they had another ceremony out at Wolf Lakes and as usual fall at Wolf Lakes didn't disappoint - the color was amazing! Take a minute and take a look at a few of my favorites!

Tiffany and Kraig | Winter Wedding from the Grand 1401 | Fresno, CA

Tiffany and Kraig came all the way down from Alaska to Fresno to get married - I know, it doesn't make sense to me either except that Tiffany is from the area and all. Despite the fact that it rained pretty much all day, by "Alaska in November" standards it was a beautiful day and I couldn't have asked for better attitudes from a couple about a little rain. We busted out the umbrellas, got wet, had fun, broke camera gear (water and electronics don't mix well) and made some great images. Jenna and Kyle | Wolf Lakes Wedding | Sanger, CA

Jenna and Kyle's wedding can only be described as an epic experience. They did something I've never seen before and used the entire Wolf Lakes facility for their reception with cocktails at Lakeside, dinner on the lawn beside the lake, and cake and dancing in the Garden Pavilion. Beyond all that, they were married in a ceremony in a brand new church in Lemoore which meant a long drive to and from the ceremony. Amazingly, nearly everything (aside from a small limo problem) went off without a hitch and it was an amazing day. Enjoy a few of my favorite images from the day...
