Jeanine & Joshua – Wedding photographs from River Park Bible Church and Fig Garden Swim and Racquet

Jeanine and Joshua were married at River Park Bible Church with their reception following at the Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Club.  One of the highlights for the day was the transportation between the church and the club.  Jeanine and Joshua kept it a secret from the bridal party until we all walked outside and the Clovis Trolly was waiting for us.  I rode with the bridal party to the reception and got some great images along the way - very cool way to travel for sure!  I had a great little session with the couple at the club and the night finished with a fabulous reception full of great toasts, a ballroom dancing exhibition by Jeanine's parents (I hear they've been

Kristin + Jarrod – Wedding Photographs from the Cross Church and Tornino’s

Kristin and Jarrod were married at the Cross Church just a few weeks ago.  The Cross Church has some unique architectural features that are fun to use and I always enjoy the opportunity to work there!  As an added bonus we made a quick pit stop in my Old Fig Garden neighborhood to get a couple cool shots of the bridal party on the gorgeous, tree-lined streets.  I'm happy to finally get this posted after a longish delay - I flew out to a much appreciated vacation in Hawaii the morning after this wedding.  It's good to be back, hope you enjoy my favorites!

Stephanie + Alex – A Pines Resort at Bass Lake Wedding

Remember that ridiculously hot weekend last weekend?  Well Stephanie, Alex and I spent most of Saturday hanging out outside for their wedding.  You would never know it by the pictures, but even in the mountains it was over 100 degrees.  There was a point that having the wedding IN the lake, rather than next to the lake, seemed like a really good idea.  In the end though, the wedding went perfectly, the ceremony was a pleasant 7 minutes, and we all made a dash (after a few photo-ops) to the cool of the air-conditioned reception.  Above are a few of my favorites, take a look and enjoy.

Emily + Adam – A Wolf Lakes Wedding

In a strange little time warp, Emily contacted me to see about me photographing her wedding.  So, as usual, I invited her over and she brought her fiancee Adam and his parents.  Through the whole meeting I kept thinking his parents looked familiar.  Finally at the end, Adam's dad said the same thing and we quickly realized that we knew each other from some 20 odd years before.  We had all gone to the same church when I was 10 or 11 and Adam was just a toddler - the little brother of my friends (at the time) Andrew and Matt.  It was a great wedding with the added plus of getting to catch up with a great family from my past.

Cari + Eli – My 100th Wedding, Coming to You From Beautiful Wolf Lakes Park and the Chapel at People’s Church

Of course, EVERY wedding I photograph is special as for most couples it's a defining moment that rises above most others in their life.  And for Cari and Eli, I have no doubt it's the same.  But this particular wedding was exceptionally special for reasons more personal to me.  This was the 100th wedding I have had the pleasure of photographing.  It's a big number and a number that a few years ago seemed astronomically far away, but I have been blessed by many fabulous couples that have chosen me to document their very special day.  Thank you to Cari and Eli and the 99 other couples that have been inspired enough by my work to make it possible for me to do this

Cassie + Matt – A Holy Spirit Church Wedding and Backyard Reception

Cassie and Matt were married a few weeks ago at Holy Spirit Church with a reception following at a private residence in the Sunnyside area.  The reception was beautifully decorated, and I've got to give big props to Cassi for arranging for additional light!  Lighting is something that is frequently overlooked by couples planning receptions at locations that don't typically hold evening events.  The strings of lanterns that you see during the slideshow are remarkably affordable and highly encouraged! Here's a few of my favorites.

Imani + Joshua – A Wedding from the Birdstone Winery of Madera

Imani and Josh were married on the lawn at the Birdstone Winery in Madera, CA.  This was my first time at this location, and I thought it was  great outdoor venue for a wedding.  Imani left no detail overlooked, with the grounds decorated by dozens (or hundreds) rhinestone decorated silk butterflies.  The wedding was so full of color, it was unlike anything I have ever seen at wedding - I loved it. Above are a few of my favorites...

Stephanie + Chris – A Copper River Wedding

Stephanie and Chris finally won the weather lottery after the freak coastal fog that rolled in and took out Stephanie's hair (and the sun) at their beach engagement session and the blazing temps recorded at the bachelorette party, the day defied the rainy forecast and was just spectacular.  The wedding was a blast, everyone was full of energy and ready to party!  Check out a few of my favorites above...
