Just over 4 years ago I photographed a wedding for a super cool and sweet girl named Cari – that set off a chain of weddings that now exceeds 20+ of family and friends and one that finally reached Cari’s little sister Gina this summer. It’s a highlight of my year, seemingly several times a year, to meet up with this group of family and friends and celebrate another wedding with them. I’m beyond honored that they continue to come back to me and trust me to capture their special days in photographs. This wedding was no exception to the rule of great parties, happy and fun loving friends and family, and gorgeous settings. Weddings by Cassandra totally remade the Chowchilla Fairgrounds and Gina and Dustin were a blast to hang with. From the relaxed scene at Gina’s parents home, to the long detour on the party bus on the way to the reception, and finally letting it all hang out on the dance floor to finish up the evening it was a truly memorable day! Again, my friend James Collier came along and made a very nice contribution to the coverage. Enjoy a selection of my favorites from the day!
