RECENT ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS

Katie and John – An Urban Engagement Session from Downtown Fresno

Getting back into the swing of things with new year and shooting the first engagement session of the season.  I'm doing the photography for Katie and John's wedding in late February so we got out and got their engagement session done just in time.  Found a few new locations that I haven't used before and had a great time on a gray morning, but we got lucky right at the end as the sun finally broke through for the finish. Here's a few of my favorites...

Elena and Brett – An Engagement Session from Hornitos, CA

When I first met Elena she told me she and Brett wanted to shoot their engagement session in Hornitos, CA.  I had never heard of it, but it turns out there's a little ghost town in the foothills north of Mariposa.  It's not completely deserted, but there are several abandoned buildings that date back to the 1850's.  The location was VERY cool and I hope to go back sometime in the future - I love all the different textures and colors in that little town.  After spending some time in Hornitos, we went out onto Brett's ranch that sits next to the town and finished the session among the oaks and granite.  Below are a few of my favorites...

Crystalynne and Nick – A Woodward Park Engagement Session

Woodward Park can be an absolutely stunning place if you catch it at just the right time - that time being a 3-4 week period in November when Fresno gets it's "3rd season".  You know, the other two seasons being "Hot" and "Fog".   🙂 This time around the lucky couple is Crystalynne and Nick.  They're getting married next August, but we shot their engagement session a couple days ago among the gorgeous fall color found in Woodward Park.  Below are a few of my favorites...enjoy!

Bianca and Justin – Engagement Session from Downtown Fresno

Another trip downtown, and a few more streets and alleys to explore!  Bianca and Justin are getting married at the very rural Historic Harlan Ranch next year, so they thought it would be nice to get a different feel for their engagement session and head downtown for an urban session.  They're a real cool couple, quick to laugh - made it real easy to get everyone loosened up.  Here's a few of my favs...

Leah and Blair – Engagement Session from Downtown Reedley

I headed down to Reedley this time to shoot Blair and Leah's engagement session around downtown Reedley.  A couple days before Leah asked me if it was cool if they brought their bikes - Cool I said, I love it when my couples bring props!  Unfortunately, some scumbag stole their bikes out of their truck while they were eating dinner after the session.  So if you see a couple sweet vintage bikes at the swap meet - one black and one red with a cool basket on the front - let us know!  Sorry 'bout the bikes, at least you have some pictures to remember them by...
