Up next is the totally fabulous couple Dara and Rich! They have been planning this wedding for a loooooooong time (I shot their engagement session almost 2 years ago), and it has finally arrived. Melissa and John | Wedding from the Visalia Holiday Inn | Visalia, CA
For Melissa and John’s wedding I once again had the chance to work with the fabulous Dawnelle of The Divine Event and once again she did not disappoint with the decor. Melissa’s ideas were executed flawlessly! Working in new venues is an especially exciting thing for me, particularly hotels where there typically aren’t a lot of “obvious” places to go shoot portraits – it takes a lot more creativity and tricks to make it all work. I loved the skeptical looks from Melissa that preceded looks of joy once I showed her the results of the back of the camera. Maritess and Norman | Wolf Lakes and St. Anthony’s Wedding | Fresno, CA
Maritess and Norman held their wedding at the gorgeous combination of St. Anthony’s in Fresno for their ceremony, and the unparalleled Garden pavilion at Wolf Lakes Park in Sanger, CA. The amazing flowers were done by Mariah at Simply Flowers and they were a perfect compliment to Maritess and Norman’s wedding. Stacy and Adam | Winter Wedding from the Tenaya Lodge | Fish Camp, CA
Take a look at a few of my favorites from my first wedding of the season. This time it’s Stacy and Adam’s turn up on the site and their beautiful wedding up at the Tenaya Lodge. It was an absolutely beautiful setting with the snow covered surroundings, a warm fire blazing in the stone fireplace, and huge guest list full of those closest to Stacy and Adam. Brieann and Maury | Wedding from The People’s Church and The Banker’s Ballroom | Fresno, CA
So, after a crazy, hectic, action-packed January, I finally have a chance to blog Maury and Brieann’s beautiful wedding. This was actually my last wedding of 2010 and it was a great one to finish off the year! There was so much energy from everyone involved – especially Brieann’s dad who showed off his moves doing The Dougie down the aisle after the ceremony. It was a massive challenge to edit down this wedding to my favorites, but here there are. Enjoy!

I love working with Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra because they’re ALWAYS beautiful and well run. This was no exception and I knew it would be extra fun because the bride’s family and Cassandra were old friends. Shannon and Luis were an absolute pleasure to work with in every way, and their families and friends were so excited and full of energy, there were great moments in every direction.
