Taking full advantage of the amazing weather and spring bloom, we headed out to a blooming almond orchard east of Fresno for Sarah and Aaron's engagement session. Once again, I was blessed with such a great and enthusiastic couple. Had a great time with these two, I hope you enjoy the photographs!
Kristen and Nassim work in the oil industry and travel the world for their jobs. So they decided that they would drop into San Francisco for the weekend and have an engagement session. It was such a treat to hear their story and about their lives - not to mention getting out of the valley to the shining city by the bay for a great session. This one goes way back to last summer, but better late than never! Enjoy!

Hallie and Matt traveled clear across the United States to get married in the most beautiful place on Earth - Yosemite National Park. I honestly don't think there is a better wedding location than Yosemite. If you haven't been there, you owe it to yourself to make the trek! Hallie and Matt were fabulous - so much energy, so easy to laugh, they're the exact kind of people that make my job so rewarding. I cruised on up to San Francisco for Megan and Josh's engagement session a few weeks ago and was greeted by an amazing day! We started out on their rooftop garden before heading on to the Ferry Building and Baker Beach for a finish just before sunset. Such a blast hanging out with these two, I can hardly wait for their wedding at the Tank 18 Winery in a little over a month.
We headed out to the private residence where Marisa and Adrienne will have their wedding in a couple of months AND where Adrienne asked Marisa to marry him. It is a beautiful home on the San Joaquin River, and made for a perfect location for their session. Enjoy!
This is quite possibly the most fun family portrait session I photographed all of last year. You mix two crazy, nuts, spirited boys with a mom who has totally given in to the fact her boys are what they are, and you get some serious hilarity. Just a ton of boys being boys with a nice little family portrait in the middle. Apparently in this family, when mom says hug your brother, that means knock him down and drag him across the ground. It made the perfect Christmas card! More than anything, I love when I can capture kids this age, acting exactly like kids this age. You only get one chance at it, make it count!
So what do you do if it rains on your wedding day? Well if you're total badasses like Robin and Steve, you get WET! I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to work with last September at the Valhalla in South Lake Tahoe. Of course no one wants it to rain on their wedding day, but Robin and Steve just embraced it and they have some phenomenal memories to show for it. Definitely a highlight of my year and I love the set of images I've posted here. Enjoy!
