Stacy and Adam | Winter Wedding from the Tenaya Lodge | Fish Camp, CA

Take a look at a few of my favorites from my first wedding of the season.  This time it's Stacy and Adam's turn up on the site and their beautiful wedding up at the Tenaya Lodge.  It was an absolutely beautiful setting with the snow covered surroundings, a warm fire blazing in the stone fireplace, and huge guest list full of those closest to Stacy and Adam.  Enjoy the slideshow!

**UPDATE**: The Spring Portrait Event 2011

All available slots have been filled EXCEPT for Saturday, March 26. I still have openings for Urban sessions in the morning, and due to popular demand, I'm ADDING Greenery sessions in the afternoon! If you've been waiting and procrastinating, this is your last chance. Registration will close Friday, March 18 at 5pm or when all available openings are filled. I currently have room for 3 sessions in the morning and 3 more in the afternoon. Don't delay! It's that time of year again! Soon the tempertures will start to rise, the fog and rain will go away, and we'll all be breaking out the t-shirts and flip flops. Those barren orchards will explode with color and all that green grass in the

The Foundation Workshop

So for about 9 days I fell off the face of the earth and I guess I should fill everyone in on where I went and what I was doing. Well, I was attending the Foundation Workshop in Austin, TX. The Foundation Workshop is a 5 day intensive photojournalism workshop geared towards wedding photographers. It is taught by a group of former, and present, working photojournalists and it is unlike any other photographic workshop I have ever encountered. For one, you don't shoot brides, or weddings, or models, or any other fake construct developed for the sake of a workshop. Each student is given an assignment and they are sent out for 2-3 days of solid shooting followed by group critique sessions that last well

Brieann and Maury | Wedding from The People’s Church and The Banker’s Ballroom | Fresno, CA

So, after a crazy, hectic, action-packed January, I finally have a chance to blog Maury and Brieann's beautiful wedding.  This was actually my last wedding of 2010 and it was a great one to finish off the year!  There was so much energy from everyone involved - especially Brieann's dad who showed off his moves doing The Dougie down the aisle after the ceremony.  It was a massive challenge to edit down this wedding to my favorites, but here there are.  Enjoy!

Shannon and Luis | Wedding from The People’s Church and Ft. Washington | Fresno, CA

I love working with Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra because they're ALWAYS beautiful and well run. This was no exception and I knew it would be extra fun because the bride's family and Cassandra were old friends. Shannon and Luis were an absolute pleasure to work with in every way, and their families and friends were so excited and full of energy, there were great moments in every direction. Thanks to all for letting be part of your wedding day, enjoy a few of my favorite images from the day!

Kayla and Nick | A Koetsier Ranch Wedding | Visalia, CA

I have to say, it was a real pleasure to hang out with these two and shoot their wedding.  Kayla and Nick are just a couple of cool, down to earth people just full of enthusiasm to be finally having their "real" wedding.  There were lots of homemade touches, and that along with the small, intimate group of friends and family making up the guest list, really just made everything very warm and personal.  To top it off, they chose a great venue that has all the vibe of a backyard wedding, with the amenities of a full catering service on site.  If you're looking for a great outdoor venue (with a pretty decent "plan b" if it rains), you should look
