She’s the Coolest | Family Portraits | Fresno, CA

So, about three years ago I photographed mom and dad's wedding on a wicked hot, July day. Fast forward three years and these two have a ridiculously pretty little girl whom I got to photograph on another crazy hot afternoon. I had the great pleasure of hanging around with them for a bit and got to know this newest little addition. I love her serious little face as much as her happy, delighted face - and we got both of them. Take a minute with a few of my favorites... Crystalynne and Nick | St. Anthony’s and Downtown Wedding Photography | Fresno, CA

I'm finally getting this wedding posted after a bit of a delay - this was my first wedding after returning from an epic 17 day road trip with my wife and our two kids (6 year old son Jack and 7 month old daughter Merrill). Needless to say I had a pile of work waiting for me, but I'm finally looking ahead to that light at the end of the tunnel. Crystalynne and Nick were married in a ceremony at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Fresno, CA, followed by a reception at the Holiday Inn Downtown Fresno. It was a great wedding with a ton of energy from everyone involved - I hope that all comes through in my favorites below!

Ashley and Leo | San Joaquin River Parkway Engagement Session | Fresno, CA

We went to one of my most popular locations for Ashley and Leo's engagement session; hitting the trail that runs along the San Joaquin River and Friant Rd. Even though I have shot here many times, it seems that there's always a new way to shoot it. I was so glad we pushed this session back a week - the 95 degrees was so much nicer than 109 would have been! Check out my favorites!

Grace and Chris | Destination Engagement Session | Paso, SLO, and Avila Beach

Grace and Chris asked to shoot at the wineries in Paso Robles and, since Chris is a Cal Poly SLO grad, a little in downtown San Luis Obispo. So that's what we did, and since you can't drive all the way to San Luis Obispo from Fresno and NOT go to the beach, we did that as well just for good measure. I know I had a blast, and Grace and Chris both agreed at the end of the session that it was actually fun and not nearly the painful, agonizing experience they thought having their pictures taken was going to be. ;)

Shannon and Luis | Ranch Engagement Session | Clovis, CA Foothills

Shannon and Luis are a medical powerhouse all the way from Miami. Well Shannon grew up here and Luis is from Spain, but they're a couple of doctors who'll be making their home in Miami after the wedding. We shot the session on Shannon's family's ranch. You've probably driven past it driving down Auberry Rd - it's the one with the fresh cherries and vintage trucks parked just inside the fence.

Julie and Burton | Copper River Wedding Photographs | Fresno, CA

Julie and Burton were married on a scorching hot day a few weeks ago at Copper River Country Club. Big thanks to everyone that braved the heat to step outside for photographs and a special thanks to the family for powering through! The reception was an absolutely stunning creation by Cassandra at Weddings by Cassandra. Let me tell you, you can not go wrong hiring her to help plan your day - everything was flawless!
