Kendall and Ryan chose San Francisco for their engagement session, but they wanted something different than the beach that's so frequently requested. I was totally up for it, as they wanted to go a couple of places I have been dying to go and they knew how to get there - well, sort of, but we won't talk about the part where I got a driving tour of downtown Sausalito and ran a red light trying to keep up with Ryan.. :) Anyway, we started at the Muir Woods north of San Francisco and then stopped at several locations in the Marin Headlands with views looking over the Golden Gate and the Bay. Sophia + Sonny – Another West Coast Reception

Sonny and Sophia were married this fall in Florida before moving to New York to begin their law careers. Being from Fresno, Sonny's family threw a huge reception for all the local friends and family at the newly renovated Holiday Inn in downtown Fresno. The venue was superb, and the renovations have made it one of the more unique halls in Fresno - it has a contemporary flair that is unlike the old "standards" in Fresno. In addition to the reception coverage, I had the opportunity to photograph a short session with the couple in the area around the hotel and we made some great images. Brittny + Sean – The West Coast Reception

Brittny and Sean were married in the Basilica at Notre Dame University and I had the honor of photographing their reception outside Fresno for all those that couldn't travel to the wedding itself. Brittny is the daughter of the owners of the home where Katie and Jason were married several months ago and I was invited back by Brittny's mother after seeing the results from that day. We started off with a family portrait session and then I was afforded a few minutes as the sun went down to photograph the couple. The rest of the evening was filled with eating, drinking and socializing by the numerous guests at the home.

When Kim and Jason booked me to be their wedding photographer, they knew exactly what they wanted to do for their engagement session. See, Jason proposed to Kim at the Shadowbrook restaurant in Capitola near Santa Cruz. He had a friend photograph it, but they wanted something in a little better light so they asked if we could shoot there and then hit the beach. The Shadowbrook restaurant is a stunning place, situated on a hillside with terraced dining areas set among beautiful gardens. Allison and Sean were married at the Riverpark Bible Church with a reception following at the Star Palace in downtown Fresno.
