Cassie and Jeff were married on a hot July day a few weeks ago. I love shooting up at Bass Lake, it's just great to get away from Fresno and change the view, and the lawn by the lake at the Pines Resort does exactly that. Nicole and Brian were married in a beautiful outdoor Catholic ceremony at St. Dominic Savio near Bass Lake, CA with a fabulous reception following up at Paradise Springs. Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra along with Mimi from Apropos for Flowers did an amazing job with the decor - the details were plentiful and gorgeous! Of course a ton of credit for the details must go to Nicole's mother who directed and choose most of the decor. It was really a phenomenal job all the way around. Remember that ridiculously hot weekend last weekend? Well Stephanie, Alex and I spent most of Saturday hanging out outside for their wedding. You would never know it by the pictures, but even in the mountains it was over 100 degrees. There was a point that having the wedding IN the lake, rather than next to the lake, seemed like a really good idea. In the end though, the wedding went perfectly, the ceremony was a pleasant 7 minutes, and we all made a dash (after a few photo-ops) to the cool of the air-conditioned reception.
