It’s that time of year again! You might not believe it, but it is going to get cool and those holiday cards need to be sent. So, Mark Janzen Photography is offering a very limited opportunity to a few lucky families! On the morning of Saturday, November 3 we will have a full slate of sessions at the beautiful Woodward Park taking advantage of some great fall color. Then the very next day on Sunday, November 4, we’ll have a full run of sessions Sessions with an urban feel in downtown Fresno. As with all Portrait Events, the sessions run about 20 minutes and are limited to a single family. These sessions are perfect for small children with those short little attention spans! You will
Next up for the family portraits are Robin and her daughter from downtown Fresno. Robin is the smiling face you see at the front door when you come down to my studio and I was happy to photograph her and her daughter. Enjoy a few of my favorites!
Here's Maribel and Rick's engagement session from a hot, hot, hot July afternoon in downtown Fresno. Stay tuned for their wedding, coming up on the exceptionally popular 9/10/11.
For Kathy and Jesse's engagement session I headed down to Kingsburg on a beautiful evening and roamed downtown and the countryside. We found some cool spots and had a great time - both of them have such a great sense of humor which meant lots of laughs the whole time. Enjoy my favorites...
The Waldron's are good friends of one of my dear clients of many years. So when Sara wrote me to schedule their session I was super excited and their little girl and her big blue eyes did not dissapoint! Check out a few of my favorites from the session...
Here's Chad. Newly minted high school grad and aspiring film maker. Got to love downtown with all the cool lines, shapes, textures, and light that just doesn't happen anywhere else.
So in my quest to get caught up on my blogging, I'm throwing up a big post showing all the families that took part in my Spring Portrait Event back in late March. Portrait events are a great way to refresh that old, outdated family portrait with a quick little 15 minute session - great for those little kids with short attention spans as well! We had 9 families over two days take part, here's a few of my favorites...
Heading downtown for another urban family portrait session. This time around it's the Kelley family. I shot Aubrey and Aaron's wedding a few years ago, somewhat early in my career. It's cool, because all those earlier clients of mine are turning around having babies right and left! As a bonus I just heard that there's another one on the way! So, congrats to the Kelley's, and I'm looking forward to meeting the next little one...
