One of my favorite locations in the area is Millerton Lake in the spring. The grasses are lush and green, the wildflowers are blooming and it's a perfect backdrop for a session. This session is a perfect example. Enjoy!

Lauren and Dave are getting married and who better to share their engagement session with than their son? This bright-eyed dude was super playful. After a friend came to hang out with him, I was able to work with Lauren and Dave in a drool free environment. I really enjoyed hanging out with this loving couple and am very much looking forward to their wedding later this year! Here are a few highlights from the day:
We're so excited that Holly and Mike are going to be working with our very talented Associate Photographer, Craig Kohlruss for their wedding. They invited Craig to a friend's property in the foothills outside of town for their engagement session. Looks like it was a gorgeous piece of land and a beautiful day to top it off! We found an absolutely gorgeous day for Erica and David's engagement session. It was the first time this season I was able to get up to the Millerton area and the foothills. I love how the green grasses hit the blue skies and the way the bones of the trees stand out just as their leaves are starting to appear early in the Spring! What a great way to spend an evening. One of the neat things about Woodward Park is that the various landscapes around the park peak at different times of the year. I worked with Roselyn and Benjamin early in the season so, some of my favorite Fall and Spring shooting spots were not quite ready for me! Instead, we headed to a wooded area of the park that is very crowded with picnic goers later in the year but, at this time we had it all to ourselves! I'm so glad we were able to advantage of the peace and quiet to by making some great images in the redwoods. Enjoy a few of my favorites:
