Jacob | Urban Child Portrait Session | Fresno, CA
So this is a longish portrait post, but it's my nephew and I kinda like him a lot. So have fun, check out the personality on this kid, and enjoy my favorites!

Grab the flip-flops, board shorts, and kids and join me at Avila Beach on July 8, 9, or 10 for an amazing portrait opportunity! Be ready to play and have fun, and I'll be there to record it all with my camera. These aren't your average beach portraits - no white shirts and khaki's. This is a LIFEstyle session capturing all the fun, joy, and happiness your family has to offer. Bring the sand toys, the boogie board, kite's, and your personalities. Note, these are NOT mini-sessions, this is a full session, but you get it for the "local" session price. Plus, you'll get a special price on a 16x20 framed or gallery wrap print and a nice little discount on any additional order. The
Here's a few images from a session with Corina and her adorable little boy. Enjoy!
Kristi and Drew's wedding took place just a few weeks ago with a ceremony at the GL Johnson Chapel at People's Church. Following their ceremony, everyone headed out to Kristi's parents orchard for a beautiful reception among the olive trees. They pulled out all the stops, even rolling dad's classic Thunderbird out for few portraits and finishing the night with an exit lit by huge sparklers held by the guests. Check out a few of my favorite images from the day.
I photographed Denise and Michael's wedding several years ago, and they have bestowed the greatest honor I know by having me document they're growing family. I last photographed them in September and when I arrived I was greeted with the exciting news that Denise was pregnant again, tempered with the knowledge that the early stages weren't going well and they were concerned that the pregnancy wouldn't be successful. Come April, things got more tense and Jeffrey was born 4 months premature. I've nervously watched his progress over the last 4 months and a few weeks ago got the news that he was doing very well and would be coming home - within 2 days of his original due date - and they would
The Johnson family is going to be moving soon, but before they did, they asked me to shoot a session in the home their little boy has spent his first few years growing up in. Shooting in the family home, for me, is my favorite location. It's so much more meaningful than a park, lake, or other random "pretty" place. It documents a piece of their family history and long after memories fade, the photographs will be there to remind them of those early years. Enjoy!
Next up is the Westra family. Jamie and Sam are also former wedding clients and I finally got to meet their little one year old daughter. Oh my God, look at her big blue eyes!
Meet the Arabian family coming to you from the foothills outside Fresno. We managed to catch the tail end of spring and things were absolutely beautiful up there. Love their little boy's energy!
Nora and Brian are another of my wedding clients welcoming a new baby into their family. I'm a little behind in posting this one, but better late then never! Again, there's no greater honor in my job than one of my wedding couples asking me to document their families as they grow. Thank you Brian and Nora!
