No real surprise here on the location - it's spring so that means heading out to the hills to take advantage of this tiny window of beautiful weather, green hills, and blooming wildflowers. This time it's Nicole and Kenny's turn - getting married after being together since early high-school 10 years ago. Gotta love a great "High-School Sweetheart" story! In keeping with the springtime theme, I headed back to the blooming hills for Cassandra and Chris' engagement session. It was a beautiful, if not a little windy day, but it had such an amazing sky it was well worth putting up with the breeze. I really enjoyed so many images from this session, these are just a few of my absolute favorites.

As we get to the end of February it's time for the seasons to change and spring to return to the hills around Fresno. Yanadine and Visoth travelled all the way up here for their engagement session ahead of their wedding down in Long Beach at the end of the month. In spite of the very dry winter there were still a few displays of wildflowers around Millerton Lake with more surely to follow. For Lauren and Kenny's engagement session we made another trip to Millerton Lake, but this time around we started in an area I have never used. It was fun finding new places in a location that I have used a lot in the past! I can hardly wait for their wedding next year when I get to return to the Carmel Mission and make my first trip to the beautiful Carmel Valley Ranch to photograph their wedding.
