Brian and John's engagement session comes to you from the dairy down in Stratford, CA. We had such a great time, and shooting on dairies is a blast - so many different lines and textures to take advantage of. Then to finish it all off, we rolled a vintage tractor out into the alfalfa field for a great finish. Enjoy!
We couldn't have asked for a better venue for a wedding than Jack Stone's Barn. Although there aren't as many weddings out there as in years past, it's still a great venue. A cool, rustic old barn, a pond, a beautiful setting for any kind of celebration. Even though it was scorching hot, Kristel and Ryan had a blast with their family and friends and it was a great wedding all the way around. Marisa and Adrienne were married in an intimate ceremony at a family home along the San Joaquin River. It was a stunningly beautiful location for a wedding and was made extra special in that it was also the same spot that Adrienne proposed to Marisa. They were married under the same canopy of trees as his proposal. Take a minute and enjoy a few of my favorites from the day.
Taking full advantage of the amazing weather and spring bloom, we headed out to a blooming almond orchard east of Fresno for Sarah and Aaron's engagement session. Once again, I was blessed with such a great and enthusiastic couple. Had a great time with these two, I hope you enjoy the photographs!
Shantelle and JP's wedding celebration happened at a pair of what are probably my favorite venues on the entire California Central Coast. We headed over to Carmel for their ceremony at the historic Carmel Mission followed by an exquisite reception held at the beautiful Holman Ranch. Holman Ranch is perched on a mountain top with sweeping views of the Carmel Valley. Every detail for the day was meticulously planned by Shantelle and exhibited many items hand made by her and her friends and family. Amanda and Phillip's wedding comes to you from the brand new reception venue out at Wolf Lakes Park. Named "The Feedlot" it's perfect for small, intimate receptions, private parties, and all sorts of simpler events. I love the decor and Amanda and Phil's wedding was the perfect event to host as their first wedding reception. Aside from the venue, this wedding was so much fun, just a ton of great people to hang out with, lots of emotion and great characters. Phil's son was just ridiculously cute and I loved documenting his relationship with his dad and new "mom." Take minute and check out a few of my favorite images from the day!
Wonder Valley Ranch was a perfect choice of venue for Marlena and Patrick's wedding! The grounds are really varied which lends itself to a lot of variety within the photographs. Wonder Valley Ranch offers tons of activities for your guests such as hiking through the foothills, horseback riding, and canoeing. Best of all there are cute little cabins on site where your guests can stay! It is always great to photograph couples with big personalities and Marlena and Patrick were no exception. Everything was funny and people had a great time all day long! I was honored to photograph the wedding of Nicole and Kenny at St. Peter's Church in Lemoore, California. When you are around this couple you can really see how deeply they care for each other. After the wedding we took the short drive to one of my favorite south valley venues - Koetsier Ranch. Nicole and Kenny arranged to have her Grandpa's sweet truck out at the ranch. They also had the Rolling Cones ice cream truck from the great Superior Dairy in Hanford (and ice cream makes everyone happy)! Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
It's really great to photograph people in an environment that they love or a place that means something special to them. Julie and Tony picked just such a location for their engagement session. Tony spent a long time helping to build the vineyard seen here. This was a great couple to hang out with and I'm looking forward to their wedding this fall!
