Roslyn and Andrew | Wolf Lakes Lakeside Wedding | Sanger, CA

So we're going to take a little break from posting weddings from last year (don't worry, I'll get back to that shortly) and post my first wedding of 2014 that happened a few weeks ago at beautiful Wolf Lakes Park. We started the day at Roslyn's family's home in Chowchilla for preparations and headed over to Wolf Lakes to enjoy a brilliantly beautiful March day. We were blessed with such a great group of people, and as she always does, Cassandra from Weddings by Cassandra did an amazing job coordinating everything. Enjoy a few of my favorite moments and portraits from the day...

Brand Spanking New Wedding Portfolio!

After 4 years, I finally sat down and went through 100,000+ or so wedding pictures I've taken over the last 8 years and pared it down to 76 or so of my absolute favorites - the images that I feel define my style and how I photograph weddings. True to nature it's heavy on moments, heavy on joy, heavy on the quirky little kids, with a dash of dynamic portraits thrown in for good measure. I hope it brings a smile to your face, and I really hope it inspires you to get in touch with me about shooting your wedding. Enjoy!

Rebecca and Louis | Yosemite Engagement Photographs | Yosemite National Park

I'm so fortunate to be a photographer in Central California. Working here means that Yosemite is right in my backyard and I get a chance to photograph quite a few weddings and engagement sessions in Yosemite Valley. Nothing on Earth can beat El Capitan, Half Dome, Yosemite Falls, and the rest of the natural monuments in Yosemite as photography backdrops. This time around I was lucky enough to be chosen by Rebecca and Louis to be the wedding photographer at their Yosemite wedding at the Ahwahnee this coming fall. This is their engagement session, enjoy some of my favorite images from the shoot.

Cristen and Jory | Copper River Country Club Wedding Photographs | Fresno, CA

When Cirsten first come to talk to me about being her wedding photographer, one of the first things she said just gave me the warm fuzzies. She told me she didn't know much about her wedding, but she was certain that I was going to the photographer at her wedding - no question about it! To top that all off she chose one of my favorite venues to photograph in Fresno - Copper River Country Club. So it was a bit warm, actually it was really hot, but that didn't slow anyone down. The day was full of emotion and good vibes - lots of great moments to photograph, and lots of great people to work with. One of those days that

Marlena and Patrick | Wonder Valley Ranch Wedding | Sanger, CA

Wonder Valley Ranch was a perfect choice of venue for Marlena and Patrick's wedding!  The grounds are really varied which lends itself to a lot of variety within the photographs.  Wonder Valley Ranch offers tons of activities for your guests such as hiking through the foothills, horseback riding, and canoeing. Best of all there are cute little cabins on site where your guests can stay! It is always great to photograph couples with big personalities and Marlena and Patrick were no exception.  Everything was funny and people had a great time all day long!  An added bonus for me is that I had a chance to photograph my friend and fellow Fresno photographer, Doug Morgan at this wedding - Patrick is his

Rachel and James | Wolf Lakes Lakeside Wedding | Fresno, CA

It was a lot of fun to shoot the wedding of Rachel and James! We started out our day at the Alchemy Salon in Fresno where girls got gussied up.  Then, we headed out to Wolf Lakes for the wedding and reception.  I really enjoyed the bold yellow flowers that Rachel chose for the bouquets and the guys looked pretty good in their boutonnieres too! Check out a few of my favorite images.

Michaela and Alex | Vista Ranch and Cellars Wedding | Merced, CA

This was my first wedding at the Vista Ranch and Cellars in Merced.  And it was made extra special by Michaela and her groom Alex whose family owns the winery! There were so many adorable kids at this wedding and I was really happy to see tons of my former wedding clients from the Merced and Chowchilla area! My friend Kip Beelman from Seattle joined me at this wedding where he was introduced to our Valley by the random 97 degree April day!  But, the party persevered!  In fact, I hesitate to use the word "epic" as it's pretty overused but, the party at the reception at this wedding was a truly epic party! I'd really love to get a chance to
