I just love it when couples are completely open and expressive on their wedding day, and that's exactly what Craig got when he met Stephany and TJ for their wedding in Yosemite. After a portrait session around Yosemite Valley, everyone gathered at the little Yosemite Chapel for an emotional ceremony followed by a beautiful reception at the historic Ahwahnee Hotel situated below the famous Half Dome. My good friends Polly and Matt got married and I was so stoked to be their photographer! The wedding took place at Birdstone Winery in Madera, CA. It was a great chance to catch up with people I hadn't seen since I photographed Matt's brother's wedding a few years ago. WOW! That's about all I can say. This was largest wedding I've photographed with nearly 800 guests, including 7 couples whose weddings I've photographed in the past, and a special appearance by local celebrity Kopi who jumped up and joined the Greek dancers entertaining the crowd. The convention center, and People's Church main sanctuary, were transformed totally by the incredibly talented ladies at The Velvet Society. The convention center in particular was unrecognizable - an indoor venue transformed into an "outdoor" venue using trees, lampposts, and even a lawn! Then there was Adrianna and Gerrit - a mighty fine looking couple, very expressive, and full of joy on their wedding day. Here are a few of my favorites, enjoy!
