Stacy and Adam | Winter Wedding from the Tenaya Lodge | Fish Camp, CA

Take a look at a few of my favorites from my first wedding of the season.  This time it's Stacy and Adam's turn up on the site and their beautiful wedding up at the Tenaya Lodge.  It was an absolutely beautiful setting with the snow covered surroundings, a warm fire blazing in the stone fireplace, and huge guest list full of those closest to Stacy and Adam.  Enjoy the slideshow!

Brieann and Maury | Wedding from The People’s Church and The Banker’s Ballroom | Fresno, CA

So, after a crazy, hectic, action-packed January, I finally have a chance to blog Maury and Brieann's beautiful wedding.  This was actually my last wedding of 2010 and it was a great one to finish off the year!  There was so much energy from everyone involved - especially Brieann's dad who showed off his moves doing The Dougie down the aisle after the ceremony.  It was a massive challenge to edit down this wedding to my favorites, but here there are.  Enjoy!

Shannon and Luis | Wedding from The People’s Church and Ft. Washington | Fresno, CA

I love working with Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra because they're ALWAYS beautiful and well run. This was no exception and I knew it would be extra fun because the bride's family and Cassandra were old friends. Shannon and Luis were an absolute pleasure to work with in every way, and their families and friends were so excited and full of energy, there were great moments in every direction. Thanks to all for letting be part of your wedding day, enjoy a few of my favorite images from the day!

Kayla and Nick | A Koetsier Ranch Wedding | Visalia, CA

I have to say, it was a real pleasure to hang out with these two and shoot their wedding.  Kayla and Nick are just a couple of cool, down to earth people just full of enthusiasm to be finally having their "real" wedding.  There were lots of homemade touches, and that along with the small, intimate group of friends and family making up the guest list, really just made everything very warm and personal.  To top it off, they chose a great venue that has all the vibe of a backyard wedding, with the amenities of a full catering service on site.  If you're looking for a great outdoor venue (with a pretty decent "plan b" if it rains), you should look

Heather and Matt | Fall Engagement Session | Fresno, CA

I've known Heather and Matt for a few years now, as they both work at one of the nicest wedding venues in the area - Copper River Country Club. When I met Matt, we was one of the bartenders and now he runs the restaurant that makes all the fabulous food your guests enjoy. I always have a special place in my heart for the folks that make dinner happen! Heather's the one you talk to if you are looking to book an event at the club and she makes sure everything goes off without a hitch. It's always a highlight when I see their smiling faces on a wedding day, and I'm stoked to be the one to photograph their wedding

Brianne and Andrew | Carmel Mission, Cardella Winery Wedding | Carmel and Mendota, CA

A small "wedding photographer" dream of mine has been to shoot a wedding at the Carmel Mission in Carmel, CA. Being from Fresno, I didn't think that it was all that likely that I would ever get the opportunity though. Then Brianne called me. Brianne was a bridesmaid in another wedding I shot a couple years ago, and when she told me she was getting married at the Mission, I could barely contain my excitement! Fast forward to a couple months before her wedding when she called to let me know her reception location had changed to the Cardella Winery in Mendota, and yes, it was still following the wedding. So that brings me to the most miles travelled on one day

Kim and Aaron | Meridian Winery Wedding | Paso Robles, CA

The recurring theme this fall has been a forecast all week calling for rain on the wedding day, only to break apart and deliver some of the most gorgeous possible weather imaginable. While it can be quite cool this time of year - especially in the evening - there is nothing like the Fall light in California. Passing storms and clouds only serve to make it more perfect. Kim and Aaron's wedding took place on one of those amazing days! I had so many favorites from this wedding it was nearly impossible to narrow it down. I do hope you enjoy this selection...

Traci and Daniel | Wolf Lakes, Lakeside Wedding | Sanger, CA

Traci and Daniel were married beside the lake on a beautiful afternoon at Wolf Lakes Park. It was a good time with tons of kids around and a real high energy group keeping things lively! I don't think there's a more beautiful venue in Fresno than Wolf Lakes in the fall, and you can just start to see that come out at this late October wedding. Enjoy a few of my favorite images from the day...
