Stephanie and Gabriel had their wedding back in October at the beautiful Wolf Lakes Lakeside venue. Loved having their little dogs act as ring bearers and they were super excited to run down the aisle too! Check out a few of my favorite images from the day.
Stephanie and Jon are the next in a string of really great couples that remind me of how great being a wedding photographer really is. Spending incredibly happy days, filled with joy, with warm-hearted and friendly people is a pleasure and an honor. Oh yeah, middle of August, the Central Valley, outdoor wedding...you know where this is going, right? So it was hot, really hot, but Jennifer and Norman are two incredibly good natured people and a little heat wasn't going to stop them from having a blast. We didn't spend as much time running around the park as we might on a cooler day, but from what I could tell everyone had a fabulous time! This time around I returned to beautiful Wolf Lakes Park for Mandy and Jon's wedding. It was a beautiful day on an unseasonably cool Memorial Day weekend. Mandy made sure she put her own personal stamp on the park with lots of little details, many of them handmade by her. It was tough to narrow all the great images down for this post, but I managed! Stephanie and Gabriel are getting married at Wolf Lakes later this year, and as many couples using the park for their wedding do, they asked to use the park for their engagement session as well. We had to beat a storm that wasn't supposed to be coming but nobody told the wind and clouds - fortunately we made it! We also had a special guest at the session, their adorable little Pomeranian!
Up next is the totally fabulous couple Dara and Rich! They have been planning this wedding for a loooooooong time (I shot their engagement session almost 2 years ago), and it has finally arrived. Maritess and Norman held their wedding at the gorgeous combination of St. Anthony's in Fresno for their ceremony, and the unparalleled Garden pavilion at Wolf Lakes Park in Sanger, CA. The amazing flowers were done by Mariah at Simply Flowers and they were a perfect compliment to Maritess and Norman's wedding. Traci and Daniel were married beside the lake on a beautiful afternoon at Wolf Lakes Park. It was a good time with tons of kids around and a real high energy group keeping things lively! I don't think there's a more beautiful venue in Fresno than Wolf Lakes in the fall, and you can just start to see that come out at this late October wedding. Man, that was close!! We dodged the raindrops all day and still managed to make some great portraits, had a completely dry outdoor ceremony, and we were even blessed with a brilliant sunset for about 3 minutes! Emilie and Daniel were married at Lakeside at Wolf Lakes Park on one of the few days the Giants actually lost this post season. This was kind of a bummer as EVERYONE in attendance was a Giants fan - including one former Giant, a minor league pitcher groom, and a World Series champion father of the bride. But, if you gotta miss a game, at least spend it with fellow fans, and as we all know now it all worked out splendidly in the end.
