Jennifer and Norman | Spring Foothill Engagement Session | Fresno, CA
As is customary this time of year, I've been spending A LOT of time up in the hills. This session is a little old, back before everything turned brown, but it's a great look at this special time of year. We were blessed with a extraordinary morning complete with great light and some amazing clouds.
Jenna and Kyle | Destination Engagement Session | Montana de Oro, CA
Jenna wanted something on the beach for her engagement session, so we picked a place that I had only used one other time - a long time ago. It's a pretty special place to me though, as it's the same place I asked my wife to marry me; the beautiful Montana de Oro state park. We started out in the town of Morro Bay before heading out to the park. Along the way we found a great little grove of eucalyptus trees which made for some nice variety before finishing up on the beach at sunset. Enjoy
A Couple and their Dog | Enagagment Session | Fresno, CA
This couple just asked for a quick engagement session ahead of their wedding this summer at Lake Tahoe. They already had one session, but their dog wasn't able to participate so we we met in a vacant field in the middle of Fresno and made some great images - he was an incredibly sweet dog!
Spring Portrait Event | Family Portraits | Fresno, CA
So in my quest to get caught up on my blogging, I'm throwing up a big post showing all the families that took part in my Spring Portrait Event back in late March. Portrait events are a great way to refresh that old, outdated family portrait with a quick little 15 minute session - great for those little kids with short attention spans as well! We had 9 families over two days take part, here's a few of my favorites...
Dara and Rich | Wolf Lakes Lakeside Wedding | Sanger, CA
Up next is the totally fabulous couple Dara and Rich! They have been planning this wedding for a loooooooong time (I shot their engagement session almost 2 years ago), and it has finally arrived. Melissa and John | Wedding from the Visalia Holiday Inn | Visalia, CA
For Melissa and John's wedding I once again had the chance to work with the fabulous Dawnelle of The Divine Event and once again she did not disappoint with the decor. Melissa's ideas were executed flawlessly! Working in new venues is an especially exciting thing for me, particularly hotels where there typically aren't a lot of "obvious" places to go shoot portraits - it takes a lot more creativity and tricks to make it all work. I loved the skeptical looks from Melissa that preceded looks of joy once I showed her the results of the back
