Jamie + Braden – Wedding from St. John’s Cathedral and The Banker’s Ballroom

No offense to any of the other couples I photographed this year, but Jamie and Braden's wedding might have been the most unique wedding I photographed this year.  The bringing together of two very strong cultures and family histories made for a really interesting day.  It was a Scottish and Mexican mash-up that was a treat to experience, from a Bagpiper, to Mariachis, and from delicious Mexican food to Tartans and swords to the live band and the DJ that sounded like he was straight off a spanish radio station.  Everything was spectacular - even the "fake cake" that was quickly put together when the real cake was almost 2 hours late (it did show up). We finished the night with a

Jennifer and Josh – A Wedding from Ruby Hill Country Club in Pleasanton, CA

Jennifer and Josh were married at the gorgeous Ruby Hill Country Club in Pleasanton, CA.  It was the last wedding out of town for me this year - a year that has seen me travel far more often than I ever thought I would.  This wedding was an exceptionally elegant affair for a great couple and big props go to Jennifer for her choice in shoes - those bright red shoes were SWEET!  I've posted a few of my favorites here.

Nicole + Brian – A Wedding From Paradise Springs

Nicole and Brian were married in a beautiful outdoor Catholic ceremony at St. Dominic Savio near Bass Lake, CA with a fabulous reception following up at Paradise Springs.  Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra along with Mimi from Apropos for Flowers did an amazing job with the decor - the details were plentiful and gorgeous!  Of course a ton of credit for the details must go to Nicole's mother who directed and choose most of the decor.  It was really a phenomenal job all the way around.  Below are a few of my favorite images from the day.

Nicole + Casey – An Old Town Clovis Wedding

Nicole and Casey were married in Old Town Clovis a few weeks ago giving Nicole's parents a welcome relief - their son was also married earlier this summer and I photographed that wedding as well (see it here).  We had a great session in Old Town Clovis right at sunset giving us some sweet, sweet light by the old barn.  Below are a few of my favorites, take a look.

Kim + Jason – A wedding from San Marcos, some pictures on the beach, and a reception under the stars

Jason's from Fresno, Kim's from San Marcos and they met at Fresno Pacific University.  Jason is an avid photographer who has started his own business with his brother within the last year, and I'm honored that they choose me to be their wedding photographer.  We started out in San Marcos getting ready and for Kim and Jason's first look, then headed out to the beach in Carlsbad for some pictures on the beach.  After the session, we made our way back to the church for a beautiful wedding on the lawn outside followed by a reception with what has to be the best tri-tip I have ever had.  On top of the great food and fun, we were treated to a remake

Amy and David – Wedding Photographs from Fig Garden Swim and Racquet

Amy and David were married on a scorching hot Saturday a couple weeks ago.  Not to worry though, the shade soon came and all the greenery of the surroundings kept everything bearable.  The wedding itself was truly beautiful, and the decor was very unique.  In keeping with the surroundings, everything for the ceremony was decorated with ferns and various evergreens.  Below are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Jaime and Chris – Wedding Photography from their Lake Tahoe Wedding

Jaime a Chris were married on a strikingly beautiful day on the shore of Lake Tahoe below the historic Ehrman Mansion.  Following the wedding we headed to The Cheteau in Incline Village for a fabulous reception.  The two locations made for a lot of driving, but man, I'd take that drive any day - sure beats driving back and forth to Visalia!  Below are a few of my favorite images from the day.
