Julie and Burton | Copper River Wedding Photographs | Fresno, CA
Julie and Burton were married on a scorching hot day a few weeks ago at Copper River Country Club. Big thanks to everyone that braved the heat to step outside for photographs and a special thanks to the family for powering through! The reception was an absolutely stunning creation by Cassandra at Weddings by Cassandra. Let me tell you, you can not go wrong hiring her to help plan your day – everything was flawless! Stacey and Lee | Holland Park West Wedding | Fresno, CA
Time for a few highlights from the wedding of Stacey and Lee. Once again this year, we were blessed with some unbelievably cool wedding for this time of year. I really can’t believe that we haven’t had a really hot wedding yet. Anyway, it’s been quite awhile since I last shot a wedding at Holland Park West, so it was fun revisiting a location that I have been to so many times in the past. Combine that with a sweet genuine couple and it makes for a great environment for making some great images.
Jennifer and Matt | Copper River and New Hope | Fresno, CA Wedding
Jennifer and Matt were married in a ceremony at New Hope Church, followed by a reception at Copper River Country Club. Jennifer and Matt both played golf for Fresno State University while attending college, so having their reception at a local country club made total sense. I loved the favors – golf balls embossed with the couple’s names and wedding date. I totally got my hands on a couple and look forward to hitting them around a course in the near future! Stephanie and Kirk – A Wedding from Trinity Lutheran and Fig Garden Swim and Racquet
Stephanie and Kirk grew up literally 4 houses apart their whole lives, started dating in high school, and finally after 7? years were married on Memorial Day weekend in a beautiful ceremony at Trinity Lutheran with a reception following at one of my favorite venues, Fig Garden Swim and Racquet. Sarah and Edward | From the Wedding Lawn at the Ahwahnee in Yosemite National Park
I gotta love a May that sends me to Yosemite National Park TWICE for weddings. The first was an amazing day, and Sarah and Edward’s wedding didn’t disappoint either. After several straight days of rain – and more rain in the forecast for the wedding day – remarkably the clouds parted and didn’t drop more than the tiniest of a sprinkle at any point during the day. Sarah was total trooper marching around the park, unafraid of a little dirt, in the quest for some amazing portraits. Sarah and Edward were married on the Wedding Lawn and the historic Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite Valley following an afternoon roaming Cook’s Meadow, El Capitan Meadow, and the Yosemite Falls trails for their portrait
Heather and Andy | A Yosemite Wedding from the Historic Chapel and Ahwahnee Hotel
Heather called me just a few short months ago to ask me about shooting her wedding in Yosemite. Of course I nearly leapt out of my chair at the chance. I’ve been going to Yosemite frequently since I was a young child. Many of the earliest photographs I ever made were in the park, so the prospect of shooting weddings there gets me all kinds of excited. I’ve photographed a few weddings in Yosemite Valley and I look forward to shooting many more Yosemite weddings.
