Bianca and Justin | Historic Harlan Ranch Wedding | Clovis, CA

So, I don't usually write a whole lot in these posts, but this wedding was unbelievable in so many ways. Most notably was how absolutely unshakeable Bianca and Justin were in the face of several "hiccups" on their wedding day. I'll just detail one of those unexpected happenings: The Ant Attack. Yes, I said "Ant Attack". Now, it could be expected that an outdoor wedding in a barn, on a ranch, could lead to potential "insect issues", but ants in the bride's dress is a little over the top for sure! What happened next, though, really takes the cake. You'll have to scroll down and check out the images to see what the ever prepared Nadia of Star Events grabbed out of

Leah and Blair | The Wedding Album | Reedley, CA

So before this site sees the onslaught of wedding images coming (I'm shooting 16 weddings in the next 9 weeks), I thought I might throw up something a little different. You've probably seen the highlight posts, maybe a few older extended slideshows, but what does the final presentation look like? This post is all about the album. These are the spreads in Leah and Blair's album from their wedding back in early March. The first image is the cover that wraps around the album - so the left half is the back of the book, and the right half is the front. The rest of the images are of each double page spread. Enjoy!

Leah and Blair | Wedding from Reedley MB and the Family Orchard

Leah and Blair had a spectacular plan for their wedding day - and with more than a few nervous looks to the sky hoping the rain wouldn't come, it came off beautifully. Leah's family orchard was in full bloom and made for a perfect setting for photographs and the backdrop to their reception in the barn. Their ceremony took place at the Reedley Mennonite Brethren church. The highlight of the day is when Leah and Blair arrived to the reception in a fully restored Ford Model A, driving down the grassy lane planted down one of the orchard rows. I must also mention the talented Mr. Mariano Friginal accompanied me to shoot video - see the sweet trailer here. Here's (more than)

Rosa and Mark – Engagement Session from Chowchilla, CA.

For Rosa and Mark's engagement session, we met up just outside Chowchilla and made use of the rural country side.  We shot in orchards, used the palms lining Robertson Blvd., found a cool green field, and then this great young orchard overgrown with wildflowers.  This was also the first couple of mine to bust out the cowboy hats - yeeehaw! Aside from Mark (not me, the other guy!) getting stung by a bee, it was a sweet session! Here's a small selection of my favorites:
