Rockin' right along and we get to Courtney and James' wedding a the popular Wolf Lakes Park in the Lakeside venue. Such a great and expressive couple, easy to be friends with right away. Their friends were no different - they all showed up ready for a good time and support Courtney and James in their new life. Start to finish a great wedding, and I came away with a ton of favorites. Kate and Chris were married just a few weeks ago in the vastly cooler climate of the Tenaya Lodge. You've got to love any opportunity to get out of the valley and enjoy some nicer weather! Kate wore a unique dress with navy blue accents to compliment Chris' dress blues - both are in the Army and wear that distinction with pride. It was also an opportunity to see one of my couples from last year, Chris' sister and her husband - Rachel and James. I'm honored to have the opportunity to photograph two weddings in this family and hope there's more to come! Enjoy a few of my favorites!
Shari, Jeff and a few of their friends met up in Yosemite for a fantastic wedding at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park. We had a great portrait session in the Valley before returning to the hotel to take care of the business of the day. There was no shortage of unique touches to the wedding, everything was truly special to Shari and Jeff and everyone had a blast on the dance floor after dinner. Take a few and enjoy my favorites. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for a wedding than Jack Stone's Barn. Although there aren't as many weddings out there as in years past, it's still a great venue. A cool, rustic old barn, a pond, a beautiful setting for any kind of celebration. Even though it was scorching hot, Kristel and Ryan had a blast with their family and friends and it was a great wedding all the way around. Jill and Ryan were married in a beautiful ceremony at Tuscan Gardens in Kinsgburg, CA. I absolutely loved hanging with them and their super-expressive friends. Krissa and Colin came all the way from Texas for a small, intimate wedding at the Yosemite Chapel in Yosemite Valley. We had a great portrait session followed by a short and sweet ceremony. On the way out of the valley we stopped for a quick shot of the valley showing off one of the best skies I've had for a wedding - so lucky!
Marisa and Adrienne were married in an intimate ceremony at a family home along the San Joaquin River. It was a stunningly beautiful location for a wedding and was made extra special in that it was also the same spot that Adrienne proposed to Marisa. Jodi and Steven were married a few weeks ago at the beautiful Grand 1401 in the ballroom on the 10th floor overlooking downtown Fresno. It was a great time meeting their friends, most of whom had been friends since elementary school and had stayed close all these years.
