RECENT WEDDINGS
Katie and John’s wedding from Copper River Country Club
Katie and John have got to be the luckiest two people on earth! On a day when rain was certain, they had an outdoor ceremony and the rain held off until about 20 minutes after the ceremony ended – just perfect to get a portrait session in. Thankfully, we had a gorgeous day through the afternoon and the clouds just started to roll in as the ceremony began. After it finished raining during the reception we went back out for some cool night-time portraits to finish off the night.
Congrats Katie and John! Here are a few of my favorites…
Samantha and Nicholas – Wedding Photography from the Golden Palace in Fresno, CA
Samantha and Nick were married at the Golden Palace on what turned out to be a beautiful day landing right in the middle of all these storms. The Golden Palace was decked out spectacularly – especially the room they created for the ceremony with great light and draping. You’ll notice a little different look to some of my work as well. Since the ceremony started right before sunset and because of Samantha and Nick’s desire to not see each other before the wedding, a lot of the photography took place after dark. A little added light and help from my assistant Adam got things going – a fun twist to start the wedding season!
On a side note, this wedding was another
Heather and Ryan – A Wedding from the Big Red Church and San Joaquin Country Club
And to finish of the year, I bring you Heather and Ryan’s wedding! The ceremony took place at First Congregational in the Fresno High neighborhood – AKA “The Big Red Church” – with a fabulous reception designed by Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra following at the beautiful San Joaquin Country club. The whole thing was absolutely beautiful and Heather and Ryan were a blast to hang out with.
Congrats guys, enjoy the highlights below.
Amy and Aaron – A Fall Wolf Lakes Wedding
Amy and Aaron were married on a strikingly beautiful fall day at Wolf Lakes this weekend. This is the first opportunity I’ve had to photograph Wolf Lakes in the fall, and it didn’t disappoint. The colors were simply otherworldly. Above are a few of my favorite images…
Jamie + Braden – Wedding from St. John’s Cathedral and The Banker’s Ballroom
No offense to any of the other couples I photographed this year, but Jamie and Braden’s wedding might have been the most unique wedding I photographed this year. The bringing together of two very strong cultures and family histories made for a really interesting day. It was a Scottish and Mexican mash-up that was a treat to experience, from a Bagpiper, to Mariachis, and from delicious Mexican food to Tartans and swords to the live band and the DJ that sounded like he was straight off a spanish radio station. Everything was spectacular – even the “fake cake” that was quickly put together when the real cake was almost 2 hours late (it did show up). We finished the night
Rema + Kevin – A Wedding from the G L Johnson Chapel and Tornino’s
You gotta love Kevin and Rema – they are an incredibly warm-hearted couple that I’m so happy have to met and worked with. Below are a few of my favorite images from their wedding.
