Mandi and Ryan were married just a few weeks ago on a beautiful, early fall day. The high point had to be Mandi getting ready in her grandmother's home. It was an amazing time capsule, I don't think the selection of vintage decor could be done better if one tried. The rest of the day was relaxed and I had a great time hanging out with the two of them. I get asked frequently if I ever photograph weddings in churches, well yes I do, here you go...enjoy!
Just over 4 years ago I photographed a wedding for a super cool and sweet girl named Cari - that set off a chain of weddings that now exceeds 20+ of family and friends and one that finally reached Cari's little sister Gina this summer. It's a highlight of my year, seemingly several times a year, to meet up with this group of family and friends and celebrate another wedding with them. I'm beyond honored that they continue to come back to me and trust me to capture their special days in photographs. This wedding was no exception to the rule of great parties, happy and fun loving friends and family, and gorgeous settings. Weddings by Cassandra totally remade the Chowchilla Fairgrounds
I don't want to sound like a broken record, so I'm not going to mention how scorching hot it was on this day and we'll just pretend it was about 80 degrees and perfect! I can totally get away with that because Jillian and John looked perfect in all their wedding pictures so you'd never know anyway! I had so much fun shooting this wedding, the kids at this one were so awesome - including Jillian's little man Jackson, the dancing pictures were epic, and there were so many great moments all around. I got to revisit St Peter's Catholic Church in Lemoore, a great church for a wedding, and I had my first chance to photograph a wedding at Kings Country
I was honored to photograph the wedding of Nicole and Kenny at St. Peter's Church in Lemoore, California. When you are around this couple you can really see how deeply they care for each other. After the wedding we took the short drive to one of my favorite south valley venues - Koetsier Ranch. Nicole and Kenny arranged to have her Grandpa's sweet truck out at the ranch. They also had the Rolling Cones ice cream truck from the great Superior Dairy in Hanford (and ice cream makes everyone happy)! Here are a few of my favorites from the day:
Shannon and Taylor's wedding, beautifully executed by my friend Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra, happened on a beautiful fall day in early November. I had a blast hanging out with them and their crazy friends - there was an amazing amount of "personality" in that group. Check out a few of my favorite images...
