I love working with Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra because they're ALWAYS beautiful and well run. This was no exception and I knew it would be extra fun because the bride's family and Cassandra were old friends. Shannon and Luis were an absolute pleasure to work with in every way, and their families and friends were so excited and full of energy, there were great moments in every direction. October was just one big, tense, "please don't rain on us" kind of month, and Grace and Chris' wedding day was no exception. Fortunately, the rain stayed away and the weather bucked the forecast and was beautiful! It was great visiting a couple of my favorite locations, and adding a new spot (Belmont Country Club) to my repertoire. And, as a fitting end, Juan Uribe of the Giants smacked a game winning home run while I was shooting the ring shot at the end of the post. After leaving Ashley and Leo's wedding in Chowchilla, I headed down to Camarillo in southern California for Stacey and Brent's wedding at Spanish Hills Country Club the next day. I don't know what else to say, except that Stacey and Brent are an absolute blast to hang out with and I'm quite certain everyone at their wedding had an amazing time. Jennifer and Matt were married in a ceremony at New Hope Church, followed by a reception at Copper River Country Club. Jennifer and Matt both played golf for Fresno State University while attending college, so having their reception at a local country club made total sense. I loved the favors - golf balls embossed with the couple's names and wedding date. I totally got my hands on a couple and look forward to hitting them around a course in the near future! Jennifer and Josh were married at the gorgeous Ruby Hill Country Club in Pleasanton, CA. It was the last wedding out of town for me this year - a year that has seen me travel far more often than I ever thought I would. This wedding was an exceptionally elegant affair for a great couple and big props go to Jennifer for her choice in shoes - those bright red shoes were SWEET! I've posted a few of my favorites here.
