Sarah and Ryan | Elliston Vineyards Wedding | Pleasanton, CA

Sarah and Ryan's wedding comes to you from Elliston Vineyards in Sunol, CA just a few miles outside of Pleasanton. The vineyard was a fantastic, intimate venue with a great old estate providing a gorgeous vintage background to the wedding. I truly had such a blast with these two and their friends. Truthfully I'm a pretty big nerd and these two were a perfect match. And then, to top it all off, Ryan and his friends home-brewed all the beer served at the wedding and it was absolutely glorious! Melissa and Greg | Beetle Rock Wedding | Sequoia National Park

Melissa and Greg's wedding will definitely be a highlight of my year when I look back to all the new places I was able to shoot. This marks my first wedding in Sequoia National Park and I couldn't have asked for a better couple to experience it with. We were met with a stunningly beautiful day, and even though it was a special day in the park, crowds were light and we were nearly alone with the 20 or so guests in attendance. After a beautiful afternoon with their ceremony on Beetle Rock overlooking the Sierra foothills and Central Valley in the distance, we headed down to Three Rivers for their reception at an amazing jewel of a home set alongside

Lauren and Andrew | Tuscan Gardens Wedding | Kingsburg, CA

Keeping it rolling, here is a wedding from Tuscan Gardens in Kingsburg, CA just a little south of Fresno. Featuring Lauren and Andrew tying things up with a little help from their son and all his antics. I love those little kids at weddings, such a blast! I also had a chance to work with one of the best planners in the central valley - Cassandra of Weddings by Cassandra. If you're looking for a planner for your wedding, look her up; she can't be beat. Robin and Karen | Private Residence Foothill Wedding | Clovis, CA

This wedding was one of the most significant weddings I've photographed in my career, not only for myself, but for what it represented to Robin and Karen and so many others who have fought for marriage equality over the years. For me it was the first time I had the opportunity to photograph a same sex wedding, but truthfully that wasn't all that big of a deal - I photograph relationships, moments, love and it doesn't really matter who's on the other end of my camera. Far more significantly this wedding was something of a "royal" wedding. Robin is one of the founding members of Get Equal and has devoted her life to fighting for equal rights for the LGBTQ community.

Alyssa and Ryan | GL Johnson & Ft Washington Wedding | Fresno, CA

I first met Alyssa when she was working at Premier Bride's Perfect Dress next door to my studio. She regularly assured me that when she got married, I was going to be her photographer. Fast forward a year and it was time! I had a blast getting to know Ryan, hanging out with the ladies from the dress shop, and observing a great group of people having such a fantastic time. Enjoy!

Megan and Juan | Copper River Country Club Wedding | Fresno, CA

Megan and Juan were a blast to hang out with. Now I know I say that a lot, but I really, really mean it! They were so full of joy and energy you couldn't help but getting buzzed just being around them. Their reception was full of a crazy traditional Mexican wedding traditions - in particular one that I thought someone was surely going to get severely injured during. People should not be running around that fast around people standing on chairs! So. Much. Fun! Enjoy!

Meghan and Kenan | Tenaya Lodge Wedding | Fish Camp, CA

So snow certainly isn't unheard of in late April, but when the Sierra is in a prolonged drought, you certainly don't expect a storm to roll in and dump a foot of new snow, even in the mountains. Fortunately it came through the day before the wedding and they were able to clear the deck so Meghan and Kenan's outdoor wedding could go off as planned. It did change the portrait plans a bit since no one was really prepared to go trekking through the new snow, so I had the unique challenge to use little pockets of light inside the lodge for the couple's portrait session. Diane and Will | D&D Ranch and St Anthony’s Wedding | Fresno, CA

For Diane and Will's wedding I got to see and work at D&D Ranch in Madera for the first time. It was a great, quirky venue full of character and a fun place to hang out. The ceremony took place at St Anthony's, one of my favorite churches with it's extraordinarily unique architecture. Diane and Will were a fantastic couple to work with and their crazy friends made the party an absolute blast. Enjoy!

Jessica and Chris | Wolf Lakes Lakeside Wedding | Fresno, CA

Jessica and Chris' wedding is another from late 2013 - only one more after this one! They are definitely one of the sweetest, warmest couples I've ever worked with. Their little baby was born just a few weeks before their wedding, and I loved see the family - and especially Chris - involve her in the wedding day.
