Brand Spanking New Wedding Portfolio!

After 4 years, I finally sat down and went through 100,000+ or so wedding pictures I've taken over the last 8 years and pared it down to 76 or so of my absolute favorites - the images that I feel define my style and how I photograph weddings. True to nature it's heavy on moments, heavy on joy, heavy on the quirky little kids, with a dash of dynamic portraits thrown in for good measure. I hope it brings a smile to your face, and I really hope it inspires you to get in touch with me about shooting your wedding. Enjoy!

Shantelle and JP | Carmel Mission and Holman Ranch Wedding | Carmel, CA

Shantelle and JP's wedding celebration happened at a pair of what are probably my favorite venues on the entire California Central Coast. We headed over to Carmel for their ceremony at the historic Carmel Mission followed by an exquisite reception held at the beautiful Holman Ranch. Holman Ranch is perched on a mountain top with sweeping views of the Carmel Valley. Every detail for the day was meticulously planned by Shantelle and exhibited many items hand made by her and her friends and family. I was so happy to have the opportunity to photograph her wedding and to catch up with one of her bridesmaids whose wedding I photographed a couple of years ago. I even get meet this fine group of

Sarah and Michael | Sequoia Retreat Center Wedding | Ben Lomond, CA

When looking back at my weddings of 2013, I'm quite certain that Sarah and Michael's wedding among the giant redwood trees near Santa Cruz will be right at the top of my most memorable wedding photography experiences. The venue was stunningly beautiful, nestled on a mountain side with giant redwood trees in every direction. While traversing the incredibly steep terrain certainly wasn't easy, the pay off made it more than worthwhile. Add to the amazing venue the fact that Sarah, Mike, and every one of their friends and family were among the warmest and friendliest people I have had the pleasure of knowing, and it made for a wonderfully tight knit, intimate group, where capturing emotion filled moments came easily. The celebration

Gina and Dustin | Chowchilla Fairgrounds Wedding | Chowchilla, CA

Just over 4 years ago I photographed a wedding for a super cool and sweet girl named Cari - that set off a chain of weddings that now exceeds 20+ of family and friends and one that finally reached Cari's little sister Gina this summer. It's a highlight of my year, seemingly several times a year, to meet up with this group of family and friends and celebrate another wedding with them. I'm beyond honored that they continue to come back to me and trust me to capture their special days in photographs. This wedding was no exception to the rule of great parties, happy and fun loving friends and family, and gorgeous settings. Weddings by Cassandra totally remade the Chowchilla Fairgrounds

Lauren and Jeff | Wedding from St. Therese and Pardini’s | Fresno, CA

You had to know that a family who's business is hosting parties would totally know how to throw great party, and Jeff and Lauren Pardini's wedding rose fully to that expectation. I love photographing and hanging out with a bunch of enthusiastic people, totally enjoying a wedding day. It makes being a wedding photographer just about the best job in the world! St. Therese was beautiful as always, looking grand and elegant, and the newly remodeled Pardini's looked fantastic. The Pardini family has done a great job with all the renovations and it looks like a totally new space. Cassandra from Weddings by Cassandra was the wedding planner, and she did a phenomenal job as she always does executing the vision of

Amanda and Phil | Wolf Lakes “Feedlot” Wedding | Fresno, CA

Amanda and Phillip's wedding comes to you from the brand new reception venue out at Wolf Lakes Park. Named "The Feedlot" it's perfect for small, intimate receptions, private parties, and all sorts of simpler events. I love the decor and Amanda and Phil's wedding was the perfect event to host as their first wedding reception. Aside from the venue, this wedding was so much fun, just a ton of great people to hang out with, lots of emotion and great characters. Phil's son was just ridiculously cute and I loved documenting his relationship with his dad and new "mom." Take minute and check out a few of my favorite images from the day!

Amanda and Matt | Lake Tahoe Wedding Photographs | Squaw Valley, CA

For a wedding photographer in Fresno, there is nothing better than escaping the summer heat and heading to photograph a wedding in the Lake Tahoe area! Add a super sweet, down to earth couple and their amazing friends and it makes for a great weekend, full of real moments - funny, unexpected, and heartfelt photographs just flowed from this wedding. Amanda and Matt chose the Plumpjack Lodge as their wedding venue, and I loved the choice. It had great views of the surrounding mountains, super good food, and a great ambiance which can only make great wedding photographs easy to come by. Matt and most of his groomsmen were looking sharp in their military dress uniforms (Navy and Marines), and the girls

Jillian and John | St. Peters and Kings Country Club | Lemoore, CA

I don't want to sound like a broken record, so I'm not going to mention how scorching hot it was on this day and we'll just pretend it was about 80 degrees and perfect! I can totally get away with that because Jillian and John looked perfect in all their wedding pictures so you'd never know anyway! I had so much fun shooting this wedding, the kids at this one were so awesome - including Jillian's little man Jackson, the dancing pictures were epic, and there were so many great moments all around. I got to revisit St Peter's Catholic Church in Lemoore, a great church for a wedding, and I had my first chance to photograph a wedding at Kings Country

Lacie and Chris | Victorian Gardens of Two Sisters | Kingsburg, CA

One of the pleasures of being a wedding photographer in Fresno is those extra special, early summer, rogue heat waves that show up every year before we're used to 100+ degree days. And by pleasure I mean pain, haha! This was one of those weddings. It was so hot that the local news even visited the rehearsal the day before their wedding because it was forecast to hit 108, 110 - something crazy whatever it was. I loved that Lacie and Chris didn't let the heat phase them at all. Of course the reception was a dressed down affair, but their spirits were riding high all day and the moments were fantastic all around. And as a message to all those brides
